| The plant Belkommunmach delivered the latest trolleybuses for the seven trolleybus-systems in Belarus. In year 1993, the former trolleybus repair plant (founded in July, 1, year 1973), now known as “Belkommunmach”, began assembling 2-axle trolleybuses. In year 1998, articulated 18-m length low-floor mod.333 trolleybus was manufactured (ZF axles, “Skoda” AC-motor). In year 1999, plant developed 2-axle 12-m length low-floor mod.321 vehicle. Mod.333 and mod.321 units were sold to Riga, capital of Latvia and Beograd, capital of Serbia-Montenegro. Mod.321 equipped with “Raba” axles (including drive-portal construction), that`s why have low-floor entries in all three doors. Total umbers of such model type in Minsk – nearly 150 pieces. From year 2002 “Belkommunmach” plant produced high-floor 18-m length articulated trolleybuses mod.213, that included “Raba” drive-axle. Total umbers of such model type – nearly 150 pieces too. Both models are typical in thyristor-pulse control system and “Dynamo” (Moscow plant) 170 kW DC-motors. Old tape machines (“loudspeakers”) to announce stops not used in them (as well as in buses and street tramways) – they were replaced by digital announcements. In addition, insight saloon different announcements are displayed in “running text” LED-format. Drum destinations displays were also replaced by exterior 10-13-15-dot LED-displays, read at distance of up to 15 m. From year 2000 "Belkommunmach" plant (Minsk) assembling 15-m length, uni-directional, 30 seats, high-floor 4-axle street tramway wagons (mod.601-02) with thyristor-pulse control system, 2 “Dynamo” (Moscow plant) 75 kW DC-motors on each Ust-Katav wagon plant bogie. 58 such type wagons currently run on Minsk streets.
